Loktu Fensre is the visualisation of longing, the title translates to ‘Sky Window’, a window to my birth country Suriname. The project focuses on the golden hour in Surinamese time and its siblings, showing gorgeous gradient colours of the sky. After this event the work turns into a static sky blue, heightening the longing and desire to experience the event in real time.
